Payments

• Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Your deposit of 50% is payable within 24hrs of making a reservation.
• Final payment must be paid 30 days prior to check-in.
  
• A security deposit of $1000 is payable with final balance payment and will be refunded within 7 days of departure, subject to our terms and conditions.

Bonds

Bonds will be refundable if:

• Security has not been called to the property due to a complaint.
• The property is left clean and tidy, rubbish is dealt with appropriately.
• The condition of the property is left as close as possible to the condition it was in when you began your stay.
• There are to be no visiting guests overnight. Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property overnight. Breaching this condition will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of your bond.

 

Cancellations

• If booking is cancelled 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, then your deposit (less fee of $200) will be refunded in full, except for bookings that fall into the New Year, Easter period or the QLD/NSW Christmas school holiday period where 60 days notice of cancellation is required. A cancellation fee of $300 is applicable for cancellations over peak periods.
  
• No refund will be made for any early departure.
• If booking is cancelled 30 days or less prior to your arrival date, then all funds paid, (less security deposit) is forfeited. We recommend you purchase comprehensive Travel Insurance at the time of booking.
  
• The booking is made in good faith and maybe subject to change. We cannot accept responsibility for actions taken by the property owner, however we will endeavour to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.
• Tariffs are subject to change without notice.
• The description of the property is given in good faith. No responsibility will be accepted for misrepresentation.

 

Noise/Functions/Security

• Excessive noise is not permitted as it can cause disruption to neighbours and penalties do apply. After 9.00pm no noise to be audible outside the property. Neighborhood noise is a frequent cause of complaints to Council and the Police. If someone is disturbed by a particular noise incident (like a noisy party), they may contact the 'Holiday Letting Security Hotline'.
• If security is called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour, you will be charged a call out fee of $100, per call out. Should security be called to a property more than once, those occuppying the premises may be evicted without refund.
• All doors and windows should be left securely fastened when the property is left unattended. Byron Bay Bookings or property owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property. Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
